Casino NewsNew Las Vegas Magazine Schedules First Issue Release Date
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) April 30, 2009 -- Locally based Internet service provider, web company, and soon-to-be Las Vegas magazine publication, LasVegas.Net, is nearing the final stages of preparation before taking on a new role and identity off the web as the Las Vegas-based company's newest venture: LasVegas.Net Magazine. LasVegas.Net has assembled an editorial staff with the vision of reflecting an upbeat, contemporary theme that highlights Las Vegas lifestyles, social scenes, and the business community that exists both on and off the strip. LasVegas.Net Magazine's owner, Marty Mizrahi, wants the publication to do more than simply revolve around the glitz and glamour that Las Vegas has come to exemplify. "Sure, any Las Vegas magazine is going to have to include the extravagant side of Vegas, and it should because that is a major part of our culture; but there is much more to Vegas that I want people to see when they read our magazine." The editorial scope of LasVegas.Net Magazine's debut feature, as well the monthly publications that will follow, are geared toward connecting with potential readers and rebranding LasVegas.Net as a magazine. To accomplish these objectives, readers can expect to be informed about buzz-worthy local hotspots, new food and dining destinations, bars and lounges, nightlife attractions, resort day clubs by the pool, entertainment, shopping, and conventions and special event dates in Las Vegas. LasVegas.Net Magazine will nicely complement the company's online local business directory where visitors can register and leave reviews for any Las Vegas business. In addition to reporting on the attractions, LasVegas.Net hopes to develop a relationship with its readers by encouraging and promoting social interaction and active lifestyles, maintaining health and educating the community. Businesses should appreciate the fact that LasVegas.Net magazine advocates a contemporary lifestyle where commerce plays an integral role. Nick Phillips, who is spearheading the editorial operations of the magazine, has been carefully defining a balance for LasVegas.Net Magazine over the past months. "What separates any magazine from another, especially with regard to a local publication like LasVegas.Net Magazine, is the balance of quality content your issues offer to potential readers. That balance is what characterizes and essentially brands a magazine," Phillips explains. LasVegas.Net Magazine hopes its influence will spread beyond the neon lights of the Las Vegas Strip, where the magazine's planned distribution includes high-rise condominium communities, new home owners, apartment communities, medical and dental offices, shopping centers, and places where people meet. "Our goal is to be recognized by Las Vegas locals as a source of valuable, informative and entertaining content about all facets of city life. If we can accomplish that, then we have also created a magazine that tourists will take home with them when they leave, and that is what we want," says Phillips. Mizrahi, who achieved success as a Las Vegas Internet service provider, LV.Net, and owner of several destination-based websites, has been looking for an opportunity to expand into the realm of print media. Marty Mizrahi sees the magazine as an opportunity to diversify his current business. ### Back to Casino Games News Back to April 2009 News |
